Art-Center Wedding

This Art-Center Wedding was Picture Perfect!  I had the honor of creating a sweet table and wedding cake for Rob and Kelly Fratamico.  Their gorgeous wedding was held at the newly renovated Abington Art Center.

Since the theme of the wedding was art, the bride’s family showcased their beautiful creations at the reception. As guests strolled about the galleries, there were loads of amazing portraits, landscapes, oils, watercolors and the most cherished:  the bride’s painted keepsake boxes. Kelly’s favorite cake is coconut. Hence, the wedding cake, a 3-tier coconut cake “framed” like a picture. She adores sunflowers which were the perfect topper!

The catering by Joshua’s Catering was awesome. Their incredibly pleasant and energetic staff was fantastic.  My favorite part was the Philly Photobox. It was silly family Facebook fun!

Sunrise SweetTable

This SweetTable in Sunset Orange was designed for a bridal shower held  at the beautiful Doylestown Country Club.

SweetTable with a Bridesmaids’ Dress…. Cake

The cake is custom colored to match the bridesmaids dresses.  It is the cake version of their gowns. The cake is a cream cheese pound filled with Italian meringue. And the flavors are vanilla bean.

Because there has to be Chocolate Cake

Since the focal cake is vanilla, the cupcakes on the towers are chocolate. One tower is frosted with a dutch cocoa American buttercream. The other tower is frosted with a vanilla bean Italian meringue.

You need Cookies at a Shower

Sprinkled around the table are plates of gems and caramel chocolate pretzels. This table includes chocolate dipped mini oreos, caramel drizzled chocolate chip cookies, and french macarons!

One of my favorite designs is the personalized mason jar cookies.  It matches the candy table mason jars. A fuzzy pic but a neat way to celebrate the bride and groom.

Hats off to the Bridesmaids for creating a smashing event.  Congratulations Lauren and Matt!

Jungle Cupcake Tower

This Jungle Cupcake Tower was created for Dilan’s First Birthday Party held at the trendy Stoneybrook Grille in North Branch, New Jersey.

Little Cupcakes for Little Hands

The Tower is filled with mini cupcakes. This way little guests (and big ones too) can take more than one.  And take one for each hand!  Or take one of each color!

The colorful frosting is an Italian Meringue and the chocolate frosting–a classic American Buttercream.

The kid-friendly cupcake flavors are chocolate, vanilla, chocolate chip, and red velvet.

Because every cupcake tower needs a cake topper.

This one is no different! A combination of fondant leaves, vines, and parrots reflect the cupcake colors, making this an eye-catching crown.

So who doesn’t love smash cake?

The birthday boy, that’s who.

This little guy was so not a fan. He likes clean fingers and wouldn’t touch it, so there was definitely some #SmashCakeDrama.

Did the smash cake bring his wild side?

Nope. Couldn’t coax him. But it was smashed by the “face” of a fun spirited uncle. Wild, right?

So you see, cakes really do make the party “a party.”  And jungle cakes definitely make us go a little wild.
